halołin

Found this on the net. The white back ground on the face is a bit rough and needs to be a smoother finish but the black on the face would stand out very well.

A change would be to have whited out the white on the eyebrows still further. The blacking of the new eye brows painted on would be adding character of the over all facial concept. Next then is to extend the upper black be painted past the eye sockets. When the eyes are opened the extended triangles would look larger than life. With movements of the face the upper face particularly would have a more creative output.

On the lower face a small glitter tear drop added would add dimension to the inner face and primary focus away from the eyes.

Just for show a painted blow tie or necklace and or a glues on glittering small diamante on the ear opposite the tear drop again brings all the face into view.

Cheshire cat

The instructions were' blue face of a Cheshire cat' please.

This full face stayed on for nearly six hours before the consumer went to sleep.  Stayed in p0lace through the eating and drinking activities as well.

The again what happens too

Staged fright I must admit looked to passes by as though the enactment was real.

Suited to the occasion

Scary night took on a new look.

Full face index

Using color depths

Vine

Vine on blue base

Acting on the instructions that the consumer wanted "a full face painting done of something blue" and "don't touch the end of my nose ... it tickles"

  • the face base was applied twice.
    • Each layer was allowed to dry fully.
  • The last layer utilised the contours of the face when different depths of blue were applied.
  • The vine has begun to be applied.
  • rather than leaves little stars and butterflies were painted.... to one side of the face only.
The whole effect became one of continuous change.

Quick designs

Flowers on cheek
  •  Pink with green trail vine (no 1)

Just a little bit

Just a 'quick high light' can be every bit as creative as a full face.

Using three blended colors [white, green and pink], applied with a fine brush, this simple design was applied.  Seven hours later the face paint was still on the face ... as painted.

Basics

To be seen as painted

Black light bodypainting with fluorescent pain...Image via Wikipedia
The ability for a consumer to be comfortable wearing the face or body paint is that persons alone.  Trends and fashions all offer a samenesss and conformity the consumer may externally want to feel comfortarable with. What their friends, family or peers are wearing that day may not suit the consumer. Each persons skin tones and personality are reflected in the hues, tones and contrasts , along with the decorative add ons used by the painter.
.
The experiences gained over the last twenty years of face painting are categorized as follows:
  • The ability and fun of face painting has been something that I have shared among the community.
  •  Face painting it self puts both the artist and the consumer in a close up situation where respect, cleanliness and care are utmost importance.
The professional combination of having the skills to paint on a live movable emotionally trusting canvas not something that is thrown together with a bit of paint, a paintbrush or two and a slap of paint.  Creativity's a discipline that when applied correctly in attitude, forethought and two way communication transgresses both personal and community barriers.   Clear Vision Enterprises offers training and practice as both people on the end of the 'paintbrush' set up the illusion put forward.
